Emma
We loved our stay at The Hideout! It's cosy but just right for a couple and pups. The garden gets loads of morning sun and feels super secluded. The shop has everything you might needand the breakfast at the cafe is a must-try. Plus, being so close to both coast and countryside means there's always something to do. Definitely recommend!

I really enjoyed our stay here. The hosts were genuinely friendly and made us feel right at home, always ready to help with anything. The location is perfect-quiet countryside but still close enough to a nice pub just down the road. The place was spotless, modernand had all the essentials. No complaints at all, we'd definitely come back!

We really enjoyed our stay at the hideout! It was our dog's first holidayand we appreciated how welcoming everyone was to pets. Little touches like snacks on arrival, a walking kitand towels made all the difference. The hot tub was worth the extra fee-definitely a highlight!

We spent a week here with our dogs and really enjoyed it. The cabin was spotless and comfy, with nice bedding and towels. We slept soundly on the cosy bed and loved how peaceful the location was. It's close to beaches, nature reservesand lovely country parks, plus the White Hart pub nearby offers great food and nice views. The owners were genuinely friendly and helpful, which made us feel right at home. The shop next door has some lovely local treatsand the dog-friendly cafe was a real bonus. As a couple, we felt safe and relaxed, especially in the pretty garden with grass and pebbles where the dogs could roam freely. Perfect spot for a chill-out getaway, we'd definitely come back!
Sam
We had an enjoyable four nights at the Hideout with my partner and our dog, Charlie. The place is really pet-friendlyand Janette made us feel super welcome from the start. The accommodation was spotlessand we appreciated the nice little starter pack - prosecco, milk, tea, coffee, applesand cake. Janette also owns the local café, which served a cracking breakfastand the team there are lovely. We also hired the hot tub, which was a real treat. The area is peaceful, with just two pubs nearby that welcome dogs, plus great walks for Charlie. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing break!
Emma
Great hidden spot, nice garden, but gravel might be tricky for some dogs to walk on.

Really appreciate the flexible booking options-being able to choose odd days rather than fixed weekends is great. The garden at the hideout felt super secure, which was a must with our dog around. Nice touch!
