Emma
We had a lovely stay! The place is beautifully decorated and feels really cosy. The bed was super comfyand the furniture suited the space perfectly. Loved the hot tub, dishwasherand coffee machine - made everything easier. Location's great, close to shops and the beach. Owners were so helpful and easy to chat with. We'll definitely be back!
Sam Taylor
We recently stayed at this charming little house before our daughter moves abroad for workand honestly, we're so glad we chose it. At first, we were a bit unsure because there aren't many reviews online, but it turned out to be a fantastic find. The location is perfect-close to the beach and just a short stroll to all our favourite cafes and restaurants, which made exploring really easy. The house itself is well-equipped, with a cosy lounge that comfortably fit the four of us and a small courtyard garden where we enjoyed the hot tub after long days out. The kitchen was handy and had everything we needed for quick meals. Little touches like a complimentary bottle of wine and some coffee basics on arrival made all the difference. It's spotlessly clean, beautifully decoratedand thoughtfully furnished. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again when we come back to Eastbourne. Thanks a lot to Carly for making our stay so smooth and enjoyable!
James
Fortress Cottage in Eastbourne turned out to be quite the gem! It's a cosy little place, beautifully decorated with a charming touch. It's tucked away slightly off the main roads but still close enough to the sea and within walking distance or a quick drive to shops, cafesand eateries. The host left some lovely fresh flowers which was a really thoughtful detail. We loved relaxing in the garden jacuzzi after a day out - such a treat! The cottage itself is well maintained and tastefully decorated, with a real historic charm. Parking can be tricky since it's in a residential area with some fancy Georgian and Victorian homes, but we always found a spot eventually. All in all, we had a fantastic short stay and would definitely recommend it to friends or family looking for a break in Eastbourne. We really enjoyed our time there!
Sarah
Cozy place, but the kitchen was tiny!
John
This charming cottage was super comfyand the location really couldn't be beaten, making our stay memorable!
