Fantastic cabin for our family of five. We love dour stay, it was comfortable and way more spacious than it looks. The hot tub was luxurious, and we made the most of it! We loved looking at the view and seeing all the birds and animals that came to visit. A couple of tiny complaints the doors were self closing which was challenging when we had to leave them open for our kids in the night. Combined with a thin curtain for the main door meaning the light was a bit problematic. Also a coffee table would have been lovely in the lounge area. Otherwise perfect!

Generally a lovely lodge, but having never stayed in an ecolodge previously it made me aware of how hotinsulated they are. I slept in the smallest room and although we didnt have very hot weather I had to resort to sleeping with the door open at night, no window I was a bit concerned about this initially from a security point of view but the Vineyard was minimally occupied in the time we were there so it felt ok. Apart from that it was well equipped although things like a working can opener would have been helpful, nice shower and bathroom. Generally clean but the beds could do with being vacuumed under, no vacuum at the lodge so we were unable to do this ourselves. Grounds were beautifully maintained by a company who were keen not to disturb residents and did a very good job. The general surroundings and views were lovely giving a real feeling of countryside.

The lodge would under normal circumstances have been very nice but with the high temperatures at that time , no windows in the bedrooms and sprung fire doors the temperatures were unbearable. Doors were having to be propped open to get any air in with the patio doors wide open. Under normal conditions probably very comfortable but the heat made it not nice.

Fantastic cottage on the whole . However, when arriving there were a few snags. No1 Fridge wasnt cleaned and there was yellow liquid at base of fridge No2 . The bathroom window had obviously been cleaned but with a un clean cloth. Noticed by our 2 visitors No3 . Though you cant predict the weather, we were fortunate to have really hot weather. So a fan of a kind wouldve been helpful. I hope you find this helpful, on the whole a great time was had

Very nice property to stay at, very clean and comfortable. BBQ facilities for summer months instead of hot tub only my choice though
