About 28 Long Quay

28 Long Quay is a warm and welcoming, first-floor apartment positioned in the heart of Clonakilty in County Cork. With a charming open-plan layout and a short walk to a nearby pub and shop, this delightful property welcomes families or two couples seeking a relaxing getaway with their furry friend! Upon arrival, you will discover a gorgeous coastal theme with whispers of warm hues, creating a haven where relaxation meets style. Inside, be charmed by the spacious open-plan living space. Utilise the well-equipped kitchen by preparing and cooking up a storm for all the family to enjoy around the dining table seating four. Nestle into the plush corner sofa for a movie marathon, or sink into the oversized armchair, perfect for losing yourself in the pages of a book from the great selection provided. When it's time to unwind, retreat to the sleeping quarters where two double beds await. One bedroom features the added convenience of an en-suite with a walk-in shower, offering a private sanctuary to refresh. The second bedroom is equally appealing and is serviced by a bathroom, complete with a bath and overhead shower—perfect for a soothing soak or a quick rinse after a long day. Although this property doesn’t have its own garden, just across the road you’ll find a lovely little park, complete with some picnic benches. It’s the perfect spot to savour a leisurely lunch and catch some fresh air with your furry friend. Situated in the centre of Clonakilty, you're just a stone’s throw away from a variety of vibrant pubs and charming restaurants, perfect for a leisurely evening out. If live music is what you’re after, DeBarra’s is the place to be; where the tunes flow as smoothly as the refreshing drinks. A short drive will whisk you away to Inchadoney Spa Hotel, set on a beautiful sandy beach, where you can treat yourself to a rejuvenating spa experience. For a scenic meal with a side of sea views, head to The Dunmore House Hotel, where locals rave about the food and the stunning coastline, this hotel is a ten minute drive from the apartment, which has a stunning golf course overlooking the vast blue flag Inceldoney Beach. A thirty five minute drive from Clonakilty along the scenic Coast Road, takes you to the lovely historic town of Kinsale; voted the Gourmet centre of Ireland. Kinsale boasts many fine restaurants and pubs, offering top quality fresh food. Follow the Scilly Walk around the Harbour and you come to the Bullman Pub, overlooking the Harbour where you can drink Guinness and enjoy lovely fish dishes, either in the pub, or in the restaurant. Another twenty minute drive from Clonakilty takes you to the Quaint old fishing village of Glandore; with its many outdoor areas overlooking the Harbour. This is where you can again enjoy a variety of delicious food; fish dishes and smoked salmon are a speciality as Union Hall smoked salmon is created in the small village of Union Hall across the bridge from Glandore. Take a trip to nearby Rosscarbery, where two pristine sandy beaches await, and thrill-seekers can enjoy a day of fun at The Lagoon Activity Centre. And if you’re in the mood for a lively city exploration, Cork is just a scenic drive away, brimming with pubs, shops, and plenty of buzz to keep you entertained.
